Can Do More Painting & Refinishing was founded in Canmore in 2004 with a straightforward conviction: exceptional painting shouldn't be rare. We expanded to Calgary in 2012, and now serve the entire surrounding area. Too many homeowners had settled for rushed prep, inconsistent crews, and mediocre finishes. We set out to change that standard.

Over the years, we've completed more than 4,000 projects across Calgary, Canmore, Banff, Okotoks, Airdrie, Chestermere, and Cochrane — from full interior repaints of luxury custom homes to cabinet refinishing that transforms outdated kitchens into showroom-quality spaces.

What hasn't changed is our approach: thorough surface preparation, premium Benjamin Moore and Sherwin-Williams products, and crews who treat every project — large or small — with the same level of care and precision.

Camille McPherson

Owner, Director, Designer

In 2004, Camille McPherson had a vision to start a painting company better than the rest. She figured that the only way to ensure everyone got a high-quality paint job and was treated the way she liked them to be was to create her own painting company (which soon after expanded to complete renovations). With extensive experience working on commercial and residential properties, Camille has become a master painter, color consultant, designer, and project manager. Camille has developed numerous systems and protocols to navigate renovations and work with other trades with ease. When you hire Camille and her team you will find out for yourself… she will ensure you are well taken care of and treated like a friend.

Chad McPherson

Owner, Director, General Manager

Chad McPherson works to ensure that Can Do More Painting and Refinishing is recognized as the contractor of choice. Chad brings a technical project management background to business operations which ensures all aspects of project coordination and administration are carried out effectively. In addition to a degree in Business Management, Chad holds certifications in Project Management (PMP), Change Management (CMP), and Process Improvement (Six-Sigma) which provides clients with peace of mind that their projects will be completed on time, safely, and with the level of quality promised. Additionally, Chad provides leadership with estimating, human resource management, logistics, quality assurance, safety, scheduling, and vendor management. Chad is most proud of how the company has grown from a strong husband/wife painting duo to an award-winning full-service painting and renovation company.

Mike is our Renovation Specialist and a seasoned renovation professional with experience delivering hundreds of successful renovation projects throughout his career. His industry knowledge and client-focused approach make him a trusted advisor for homeowners planning their projects. Mike specializes in understanding client goals, developing practical solutions, and helping guide projects toward a successful outcome through strong communication, planning, and attention to detail.

Jes Gauthier

Sales Manager

Jes is a Sales Manager with extensive hands-on experience in the renovation industry. After building and operating her own painting company, she expanded into drywall, carpentry, and restoration work, gaining valuable experience across a wide range of projects. Her practical construction knowledge and customer-focused approach help clients find solutions and move confidently through the renovation process.

Andy brings years of experience in construction, project management, and client relations to the Can Do More team. With a strong background coordinating projects and working closely with clients, engineers, and property managers, he understands the importance of communication, organization, and delivering a positive customer experience. Justin Wendelboe

Operations Manager

Justin has been working in the painting and renovation industry for over 20 years. Justin is a master in all aspects of paint, stain, and lacquer. Over the years, Justin has worked alongside many other trades expanding his skills in areas such as drywall, taping and mudding, ceiling texture, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical. Justin’s vast experience has allowed him to develop into an incredible project and operations manager. For Can Do More, he manages the project schedule, team development, and everything it takes for successful project execution.

Matt Decker

Division Manager

Matt is a very experienced tradesman with technical training in business operations and project management. As a result, Matt has many successful years of project management in his portfolio. His specialized background is in flooring, tile, carpentry, and cabinetry, and he has a superior understanding of all the aspects of renovations. This vast background has made him a well-rounded coatings division manager with an great understanding of all the other project details that affect the coatings division.

Lenny serves as Can Do More’s Site Superintendent for the Bow Valley region, overseeing renovation and finishing projects in Canmore, Banff, and the surrounding communities. With extensive experience in project coordination, he works closely with clients, trades, and property managers to ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish. Lenny is committed to maintaining high standards of craftsmanship while delivering an exceptional client experience. His strong understanding of construction and dedication to quality make him a trusted leader for projects throughout the Bow Valley.
